Job Description
Cabin Interior Modification Engineer
An experienced aeronautical engineer with a strong background in aircraft maintenance, design, certification and modification & refurbishment is required by out client in Switzerland.
Description/Tasks
- Creation of engineering packages including drawings for minor and major modifications in accordance with Company Design Organisation Exposition.
- Cabin interior reconfiguration and refurbishment of VIP aircraft in regards of safety, weight and balance, flammability and system installation requirements.
- Maintenance organisation technical support for repair, tooling, finding solutions to technical issues, etc....
- Mechanical installation of avionic/electrical equipments.
- Liaison with sales, interior designers, production, vendors, subcontractors, certification engineers, OEMs and other engineering sub-departments.
- Direct reporting to the manager of the mechanical engineering Maintenance.
Qualification/Experience
- Mechanical engineering degree
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position
- Experience on Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Gulfstream and/or Dassault aircraft
- Experience on aircraft maintenance, modification & refurbishment activities, engineering, regulatory design approvals and technical solutions for product improvements
- Knowledge of aircraft certification process including DOA/DOE
- AUTOCAD and/or Catia V5 knowledge
- Good Microsoft office knowledge
- Team spirit. Hands on mentality, ability to work independently
- Experience on aircraft VIP interiors
- Good communication skills
